Manifesting Miracles

Study On How To Manifest Miracles.png
Scripture To Study:

After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda,[a] having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.[b] 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
11 He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’”
— John 5:1-11 Pool of Bethesda

The year is almost over, so you know what that means..New Year Resolutions. This is not your typical New Years Resolution blog! Instead of writing about what I am going to change and how I will accomplish all these wonderful things, I want to write about how to actually manifest your miracles. A lot of the times our wants end up on a paper, for New Years Resolution and they are just left there. Some come to past and others are completely forgotten after a month or two. Here’s a study on how to go past just wanting something to actually manifesting your miracle.

When I was reading about the man waiting for someone to put him in the pool of Bethesda so he could be healed I reflected on the steps needed to get a miracle. A lot of us have resolutions to get a miracle for our bodies, to get healthier, to get a grip on finances, to buy a house next year, and so forth but wanting it in your mind and writing it down as a resolution is not going to get you your miracle. What will? You will get your miracle when you want it, activate your faith, work for it, and really believe.

Want It

In the pool of Bethesda, they had an angel that would swoop down and stir up the water. When the angel stirred the water whoever was in the water received healing. Along side the pool was this man who had been sick for 38 years. That’s a long time to be sick, so I’m pretty sure he was desperate, he was literally sick and tired, so he was willing to give this pool a try…But even in the right conditions and being a few feet away from being healed he couldn’t go past just wanting the healing in order to actually receive it. A lot of us are wanting some things bad and could actually obtain them, but we won’t put the work behind our desire to get what we want. We will just hope and long for a list of things on a paper and wait for the "perfect conditions", not realizing that even with the perfect conditions around, you won’t receive it without going past just wanting it.

Activate Faith

Jesus asked him, “Do you want to be made well?” His reply was basically saying yes I want it, but I’m waiting on somebody to put me in the pool. He was waiting for someone to hand him his miracle, instead of having faith and getting up and getting his blessing for himself. After that reply Jesus said, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. The man had to be able to believe in the words that Jesus told him, that he could rise, take up his bed, and walk. After he received the words due to His faith, he was made whole and moved into putting in the work (rising and taking his bed).

Work

By his faith he was immediately healed, got up, took his bed, and walked. He started working and walking in it.  A lot of us have faith but no works. Faith without works is dead. You can’t believe and not start working. You can't believe that you're miracle is on the way, but not work towards it. Rather it's praying about it, making a budget, combatting your mind with scriptures, or whatever it is you need to do you have to put in work! The disciples had faith in Jesus’ ministry and they got to work. How can you have faith and believe in something without ever working! You might as well not even believe in it, because it’s pointless to not be active in your faith. Without work your faith is not fruitful, you can’t grow, you can’t help anybody else grow, and you’re only going to get some surface level stuff. You have to put in work to produce change and you have to keep working to maintain your change.

Believe

After you put in work you have to really believe and stand tall in your faith, because the enemy is going to try and come in to snatch your miracle any chance He gets. Right after he was healed from being sick for 38 years here comes the enemy using the Jews, “umm excuse me why you working... it’s the Sabbath.” He stood tall and said well the man who healed me told me too. Imagine if he had a sense of doubt, “yeah you right it’s the Sabbath, a man with the power to heal wouldn’t have told me to work on the Sabbath..” He would have denied the blessing he received and started all over again. Don't allow intimidation to stop you from getting your breakthrough! You have to break through the barriers and grab what's yours!

For the new years don’t just blankly write down resolutions that you can’t even faith in or work towards longer than a month. Declare on paper those desires that you are going to pursue until they are released to you. Declare it and believe it! Once you write down those wants and desires believe that it’s on the way, activate your faith. Begin the work and when the enemy would try to snatch away what you declared stand tall and believe in what you declared.
